“Immediately after moving to Spain, my husband and I faced a language barrier. We had a very basic knowledge of Spanish which was not enough even for daily communication. On top of that, we did not have any Spanish friends or colleagues in our entourage, and it was difficult to establish relationships without knowing the language. Some friends gave us Ilya's contact and we started classes with him.
From the first lesson we knew that Ilya was our teacher. He immediately immerses himself in the language, explains everything in Spanish, very easily, without that feeling of not understanding anything. I was able to use and apply what I was learning immediately. In each lesson, we would see different interesting and relevant topics for us, while expanding our vocabulary and working on grammar. Ilya has a personal approach for everyone and a special sympathy towards the student. His methodology quickly directs and strengthens the student, taking into account the individual nature of each student and their pace assimilating new concepts. And the most important thing is that you find yourself constantly thinking that everything is much easier than you thought, the information is gradually accumulating in your head, the fears disappear and you really want to start talking after the class.
Ilya is a talented teacher with a lot of experience. Although perhaps the main thing for us is that he is a wonderful and very warm person, always in such a good mood that he passes it on to us. After each class we always have a feeling of joy for everything we have learned and we are proud of having progressed further.
